Stay tuned!

Finally got a chance to talk to my boss. Basically, he hasn't had time to sort his brain out because of what is happening. His dad couldn't breath (he had a surgery last Friday putting in a pacemaker) and was rushed back to the hospital today. Poor guy is 89! My boss is supposed to be going away next week... So he asked me to at least stay for an extra week and let him think about things. I just told him I'd be going on leave in 3 1/2 months and would have asked him to let me try working from home after that. The decision just came 3 1/2 months sooner because of what happened with that ASSociate. He seems to get and understand my points. We'll see.

Never been happier seeing a toilet bowl...

...in the house. Finally...after 7 months, the contractor is finally installing bathroom fixtures. Not long to go now. We hope to "start" moving back on Good Friday weekend...fingers crossed!!!

I can SOOOO live without you

Someone in the office has been acting like an ass for the past couple of months. And for some stupid reasons, even though all of us were hired as indepedent contractors, this guy was promoted as an ASSociate. I totaly didn't get it. Everything was fine since we just worked on our own projects, but he so crossed the line yesterday and acted like a big shot in front of me, so I just told my boss today -- I QUIT! I don't need to take his attitude thinking he is now in charge. Screw him. Ooops, excuse my bad language. :p

My plan is to just finish what I am working on for probably another week, then just get ready for the move back to the house. It'll take me a while to unpack and clean the house since I am now pregnant. Then will see if I can get some consultant job at home until baby is born. If I can get enough work working from home, will just stay home as we woud need to find a baby sitter anyway. Everything is looking good. Ha ha. :D

妹仔大過主人婆

The house is moving along (s..l...o..w...l..y...)...we had to pick out the door hardwares for the two pairs of sliding doors to the backyard as well as for a pair of french doors to the front porch. The door themselves were probably around $200 to $300 a pair. But guess how much the hardware costs??? For the three sets, it costs us US$620!? They cost as much as the doors if not more! Totally a rid off from the door manufacturer because there aren't any compatible hardwares for the doors. Grrr... >:O

...or so I thought...

Ok, so I thought Spring was here... But then within a day, the tempature has dropped from 21C to -6C. This really doesn't look like Spring at all...

Spring is here...

Let's do the dance. 7 more days and Spring will officially arrive! We have turned our clock forward (day light saving) on Sunday at 2am. The day is so much longer now and I just love it. I heard some electroncis/computers are having problems...so glad I don't have to deal with that. Ha ha.

On a "heavier" note. My friend has left the office, so I feel all alone there. But I will survive. There is so much going on in life that's keeping me busy and giggly. :D

It is kicking (in)

The idea of having a girl is kicking in. I giggle when I think of what we'll do with her. Getting her hair cut, having her all dressed up...all these thoughts just make me smile. And our baby girl has received her first gift from her nan -- a fleece jacket. Hee hee. I think she'll be so spoiled.

She's also started to kick me. I was watching my tummy yesterday and as she kicked, I could see that section of my bump jumped. How cute is that? Or am I turning into a mushy silly mom? :D

It's a GIRL

WOOOHOOO! A MINI ME!!! How exciting!!! Now we can start shopping (as a matter of fact, we did today) and start picking out name and everything. It's wonderful. I am going to teach her everything I know. Heh heh heh. ;)

World, beware of another ME!

Only 4 more days

Until we have our 3D scan. This scan will check the development of the baby. To see if it's developing well and "correctly". :S The bonus? We can also find out the gender if it cooperates. WOOOHOO! Isn't it exciting? But to my surprise, I found out some people really "object" to the idea. They would prefer it to be a surprise until the child is born. But to me and Gary, it's going to be a surprise no matter what. We are just finding it out sooner. Like 5+ months soon. Ha ha. I also think finding out the gender early can let us get more prepared. We can start shopping, and start thinking up a name. :)
